Julie Murtha

As Walden’s account manager, Julie Murtha brings a combination of education, work experience and small business ownership to the team.
After a Bachelor of Commerce degree and Master of Industrial Relations degree from Queen's University, Julie began her sales and marketing career in the newspaper industry. She later joined an international business consulting firm. Looking for a new challenge, Julie returned to school to train as a chef, and launched a small business called The Boutique Caterer, specializing in cookies, cakes and special event catering.
Today, Julie is passionate about helping other entrepreneurs achieve their goals. She says: "as a small business owner, you don't have the time or expertise to develop effective marketing materials — you're too busy running your business. I've been on both sides of the table. I will work with you to communicate your vision to our talented production team, so we can get your message out to potential customers."
