Dermatologist Dr. Vignjevic knows that clients have trouble with his name, so he goes by "Doctor V", and registered the domain name doctorpeterderm.com. We felt this was also hard for clients to remember, so we found him DoctorV.ca.
To emphasize the profitable cosmetic side of his practice, the logo we created incorporates a beautiful male and female silhouette. This works extremely well for his 1-color appointment cards, and has the potential for use on private-label cosmetics.

Balloon Print USA is a broker for printed advertising balloons.
Since their corporate clients tend to prefer long-lasting foil balloons, the two most popular foil shapes circles and stars were chosen for the bold logo. We accented this image with a "rounded" font to emphasize the inflated balloon appearance. Of course, the red, white and blue color scheme shouts "USA! USA!"

MAST, the Marine Aquarium Society of Toronto, is a non-profit organization of individuals who enjoy caring for reef tanks.
By choosing the magnificent Moorish Idol (Zanclus cornutus) as the logo fish, we created identity materials in just 2 colors (keeping printing costs at a minimum), that still accurately promotes the beauty of the hobby.

Darlene Spencer is an accomplished performer, director and acting teacher. At six feet tall, her height, as well as her talent, gets her noticed and remembered.
We exaggerated the vertical lines in her name to reflect her height, creating an elegant and effective word mark.

Twin Town Events is a large event decorating company in Minnesota. They came to us wanting just their name in an unusual font, using a classy gold and black color scheme.
We embossed the letters and gave them a touch of highlights so their logo would appear as if chiseled from gold.

This legal firm originally wanted a classic- looking logo, so we stuck with traditional fonts. We were then surprised when they went with a modern mocha color, but think the combination has a nice balance between "trustworthy" and "hip".

A Toronto travel agency, wanting to create a subdivision focusing on gay and lesbian customers, needed a business name and web presence. With some research, we found that both the .ca and .com domains were available for Equal Travel, and the agency agreed this was a great inclusive name.
The mathematical "equal sign" symbol decorated with the rainbow flag motif makes a strong statement for equality.

Staying with that theme, the Canadian Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce needed a single-color "official looking" bilingual logo.
Accommodating 15 words into a logo is never easy. But by combining a "pink triangle" icon with a maple leaf, the strong graphic and carefully spaced text worked together well to represent this national organization.

Magneteer is a US distributor of the magnetic system produced by MagMover.
We designed a logo for them that illustrated the purpose of the product installing and removing ceiling displays. In all our creations, we try to include the element of rhythm - allowing the viewer's eye to flow through the design. In this case, the curved arrows really capture that desired sense of movement.
