0.6 MB PDF		As mentioned on the brochures & flyers page, Dr. Vignjevic hired Walden to help increase the cosmetic-procedure portion of his practice. To advertise his services, we created a series of Yellow Pages and local magazine ads, such as the one shown here. Working together with the client, the text was refined and appropriate stock photography images were chosen. We then skillfully removed the background from the male photo so it could be layered and appear to jut out from the boundary box in an eye-catching way. The colors of the woman's eye, skin and lips were repeated in the layout to help unify the ad, and create an overall pleasing tone. CLIENT TESTIMONIAL
1.0 MB PDF		The Fraternity, Toronto's gay professional social club, had an image problem in their community. The members were generally assumed to be "old and boring". Walden was asked to create a magazine ad to help change that perception. We photographed four of the younger members in a party situation, came up with the line "It's not what you think", and included a fun "Actual Fraternity Members" disclaimer to get readers to question their beliefs. The ad was considered to be a huge success and was re-used in other media.
0.2 MB PDF		Premium Balloon Stems are plastic supports that allow balloons to be incorporated into floral arrangements. The launch ad for this new product needed a striking image to show the purpose of the Stems, as well as step-by-step photos demonstrating how easy they were to use. We designed and assembled the arrangement, took all the photos, wrote the descriptive text and created the ad layout. Since the colorful Premium logo had to appear in the bottom right (a consistent placement in all their advertising), the large floral and balloon arrangement provided a strong counter-balance in this attractive and effective advertisement.
1.4 MB PDF		The Canadian Revvida distributor had a good response to an initial newspaper campaign with large (expensive) ads, but once the ad size decreased, so did the results. Someone smart then referred them to us, for a smaller ad design that would capture attention. We found stock photography that appealed to their target market, and wrote sharp copy that outlined the product benefits. As hoped, the response was greatly improved. CLIENT TESTIMONIAL
