Walden's team in downtown Toronto knows website animation! Although action can be created in many ways (e.g. video, animated GIF, and JavaScript), because of its flexibility and small file size, Flash is the most popular animation technique.
Unfortunately, websites made entirely with Flash animation hurt Toronto companies! Web animation is great. It captivates viewers, and often does a better job illustrating complex concepts than either words or static images. But when an entire site is made with Flash, the text-based search engines (like Google) don't see any readable content – preventing the site from being found.
Proper web page animation in Toronto means Flash elements are used sparingly – often for a moving logo, a slideshow of images or animated product demonstration.
