Flash-Heavy Website Design for Event Décor Company
Twin Town Events (TTE), Minnesota's premier special event decorating company, wanted a website that represented the amazing energy and creativity in their work. Although they liked the cool animation effects of websites made entirely in Flash, it was essential that they be found easily online. This meant an all-Flash site (where the content can't be seen by search engines) wasn't an option.
Our solution was to incorporate many flash elements within a well-optimized XHTML framework. Mouse over the bottom menu and the animated options spring to life, while unobtrusive static numbered links still allow search engines to see the associated pages.
Since many of TTE's events involve lighting effects, we designed a sexy black background accented with glowing coloured light. The moving spotlight on their logo and the reflection effect in the bottom menu adds to the sophistication. TTE's response: "WE LOVE IT!"
